Learn and Practice Scales

To improve your guitar playing, one of the most important things you can do is to learn and practice scales. While you don’t need to know all the modes, it’s a good idea to learn at least the basic patterns of minor, natural, and harmonic minor scales. It’s not as hard as it sounds. Even if you don’t know how to play a particular scale, you can learn the basics quickly. The book “Fretboard Logic” really helped me understand the fretboard and how the pentatonic patterns fit together.

These basic scales are easy to learn and you can practice them daily. You can practice them by spending time with them, or you can do them while watching TV. Don’t just practice the steps with your hand on the fret. You should also make sure you are using the right plucking technique. Working on the scale has many benefits. It is great for getting used to playing different notes. It is a great way to improve the dexterity of the hand that plays the frets and the pick.

Jam With Other Musicians

You can also find other musicians to jam with to improve your guitar playing. You can learn more about the instrument by sharing your ideas with other guitarists. It is especially beneficial to jam with other guitarists who have more experience than you. These people can push you to improve and open your mind to new ideas.

It helps to jam with drummers. You may not be able to tell if different parts are played at the right tempo if you don’t use a metronome. You can keep up with a good drummer if you take the right amount of time. It is important to spend time with a bassist to get to know their part and how they fit together.…

Research has shown that memory can significantly improve in just six weeks of piano training. When playing the Piano, you have to play both hands. To the casual observer, this sounds like multitasking, but it’s not, it’s memorizing. To be able to concentrate on both hands simultaneously, a pianist “remembers” between the palms of his hands, switching to autopilot to be able to concentrate on the other side. Repeating this singing procedure helps with dementia and Alzheimer’s and increases memory. You also use hand-eye coordination to play with notes. In sport, this promotes the health and strength of the tendons, muscles, and joints of the fingers, wrist, and hand. If you do that, you can help reduce the effects of arthritis.

You can increase your learning ability. Learning to play the Piano is the best way to understand something. When you learn a melody on the Piano, it forces the melody to break down into its components. And share these parts, learn every part, and sew, you heard the melody. But as more and more melodies in this way, we start working on this procedure to divide the big goals into smaller ones. And you also realize that you can apply to learn any skill you want in 13 years.

Amplification of Neuronal Connections

Neuroplasticity is the brain’s ability to reorganize and make connections. In other words, it allows you to learn new skills and habits. It shows that learning to play the Piano increases neuroplasticity, even in adults, so it ends with the old expression “you can’t teach an old dog new tricks,” which is not true after all. And by playing the Piano, you can learn new tricks. The possibility to sit at the Piano to take your favorite songs from the radio and play with them is a great pleasure.
